31 Bridge Street
After 15 years in the Buttermarket, Slightly Foxed has moved to permanent premises at 31 Bridge Street, Berwick-upon- Tweed. Within this historic building, with original architectural features including a large cupola painted with a Berwick panorama by local artist William Hamilton, we now offer an even wider range of quality second-hand books. These consist of both fiction and non-fiction, from the latest thrillers to children’s classics, from poetry to history and the occasional antiquarian find, we endeavour to have something for everyone. Also available is an extensive selection of original vintage movie posters, providing you the opportunity to own a uniquely decorative piece of art to hang on your wall.
In addition, the shop plays host to the largest display of L.S. Lowry prints in Berwick-upon- Tweed, including reproductions of work he made while visiting the town. These are available to order and purchase, as is the iconic Berwick Time Lines print, for which we are the sole supplier.
Opening times vary throughout the year. Please check our Facebook page for details of these changes and for updates of what we are up to. Alternatively, you can contact Simon at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the shop directly on 01289 298361.
