Due to overwhelming public demand the exhibition 'L.S. Lowry in Berwick & Northumberland' will now open 7 days a week!
The exhibition, which has only been open for one week, was scheduled to run Wed-Sun each week, but with the numbers of disappointed visitors arriving at the gallery on Monday and Tuesday of last week, Berwick Visual Arts have announced that they will now be open daily.
This is the largest collection of Lowry originals to be shown in Berwick-upon-Tweed and includes The Market Place, Dewar's Lane, Spittal Sands and a Football Match on the 'Stanks'. Alongside these are works that capture wider Northumberland and the artist's fascination with the sea.
L.S. Lowry in Berwick & Northumberland opening times:
Mon & Tues 12-4pm
Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun 11am-5pm
The exhibition is at the Granary Gallery - 2nd Floor Berwick YHA, Dewar's Lane (next to Bridge Street Car Park), Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1HJ.
