Overview

Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th June 2018.

Some say that Spittal Gala has its historical roots in the local fishing industry, particularly salmon. However, local Gala's throughout the North East had their origins in the coal mining industry. The Gala remains an event that is suited for families, with events for all ages.

Spittal Gala 5-a-side - Saturday 9th June

Sat 9am (Under 9s & 11s) 1pm (Under 13s & 15s) 5-a-side football at Spittal School Field

Spittal Gala Day - Sunday 10th June

11am - Car Boot (Cars £5.00/vans £7.00)

12.00 - Fancy Dress Parade, Led by Gala Queen & Civic Party Assemble at Spa Well.

Teddy Bear’s Picnic Bring your Teddy, Best Teddy and Colouring Comp.

Entertainment by Chris Wish, Face Painting, Fun Races, Tombola, Bouncy Castle, Music, Refreshments, Burgers and more.

All Profits are spent in Spittal for the benefit of Spittal!
