Royal Border Bridge
Berwick's iconic Royal Border Bridge is illuminated each evening from dusk, with a changing programme of lights.
To mark occasions, raise awareness of causes and to commemorate special dates; the illuminations are set to a significant colour. This creates a special spectacle and a unique opportunity for photography.

February 14th - Valentine's Day - Pink
March - Endometriosis Awareness Month - Yellow
March 21st - Down's Syndrome Day - Red & Blue
April 23rd - St. George’s Day - white and red
May 12th - ME Awareness Day - blue
May 15th: Pink for Hyperemesis Awareness Day
May 17th: IDAHOT Day (International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia)
May 27th: Red & Yellow for Northumberland Day
w/c June 2nd: Rainbow for Northumberland Pride
June 18th - 24th: Red and Yellow for Learning Disability Week
August 2nd: Red for Redcoats Event
September 22nd: Green for Mito illness awareness week
November 1st: Purple for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness
November 2nd: Blue, post-polio syndrome awareness day
November 30th: Saltire blue & white for St. Andrew's Day
November 30th: Red and Yellow for International Day of Persons with Disability
December 3rd: Red and Yellow for International Day of Persons with Disability
December 7th: Blue for World Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Awareness Day.
