Berwick's Magdalene Fields Golf Club is only a 5 minute walk from the town centre and offers 18 Holes, 6,574yards, SSS 72, designed in 1903 with traditional links layout.
For exciting events in the sporting field, why not pop over to Tweedmouth and visit Shielfield Park Stadium, home to Berwick Rangers Football Club. Despite being situated in England they play in the Scottish Third Division Football League, managed by Ian Little.
The Berwick Bandits compete in British Speedway's Premier League, racing on most Saturday nights throughout the season (18th March to October) at their home track, Shielfield Park. The stadium gates open at 6pm, with a parade of the riders about to compete at 6:50pm and the racing itself commences at 7pm.
Also in Tweedmouth, The Swan Centre for Leisure has a programme of activities year round, especially during school holidays when the emphasis is on children’s sports activities and clubs. The swimming pool is open year round and has timetables for school holidays and term times.
