Horse Riding

If you fancy horse riding in Berwick and Northumberland, you can experience everything from beach riding for experienced riders, to safe off-road tracks for novices, along the Northumberland coastline and the open access farmland of the Scottish Borders. This area is the perfect environment for all equestrian pursuits.

The Riding of the Bounds is an annual equestrian event in Berwick, taking place on Saturday 5th May in 2018. The fifteen-mile long boundaries of the town are ridden by a cavalcade of horsemen rekindling the seventeenth century tradition.
