Northumberland Rally Festival

Berwick & District Motor Club are planning a motorsport day of fun for all the family in North Northumberland.

The Northumberland Rally Festival takes place on Brunton Airfield on Saturday, July the 15th and promises all-day action from a start of 9.00.a.m. This rally festival takes the form of a rally demonstration day where over 50 rally cars of all ages will take to the rally special stage, carefully designed around both the perimeter roads and main runways of the disused airfield.

Cars range from a 1960s Ford Anglia (albeit heavily modified) to a Metro 6R4, mark one and two Escorts, an ex-works Chevette and that real rarity, a Nissan 240RS.

Spectators are actively encouraged and viewing areas have been created so that people can see the cars in action from very safe locations, and yet still get the thrill of the noise, drama and spectacle.

Entry is £5 per person with accompanied under-10s free, payment at the gate by cash or card and the event can be accessed from the B1340 (which is the Christon Bank to Beadnell road).
