A sci-fi adventure romp, it’s set in 23rd century New York, where world-weary Bruce Willis (is there any other kind?) is a cynical cab driver, who one day has a beautiful alien drop into his cab from a great height. She (Milla Jovovich) is the Fifth Element, who comes to Earth every few thousand years to protect it from an existential evil threat. A visually stunning sci-fi with a great sense of humour, breathless action sequences, and amazing costume/set design.
