HODS 23 The Crew's Camera Berwick Street Photography 1959 until 2023

Come and see an exhibition created by Berwick’s Community Crew based on archive images and their own modern day photos of facades in Berwick

Inspired by our time on New Wave, Berwick HODS have continued to work with young people and are happy to present a new exhibition created by 13-16 year olds in the local area. Following their visit to Berwick Archives, come and see what the young people have created blending old and new photos.

The Community Crew is based at Berwick Youth Project and is for young people 13 +. They meet at the Beehive, whose name comes from Ayton’s Beehive Bazaar in Walkergate, long since gone. It had a cafe where young people used to meet.
