School holidays: On all open days, an extra session runs at 2.45pm.

Everyone must pre-book ahead of time. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early, as entrance gates are shut at session times, so allow time for entry.

Join us for an educational, interactive, and hands-on experience with a range of birds of prey, reptiles, and creepy crawlies!

Here at our home in the grounds of Haggerston Castle in Northumberland, we have something for all of the family, from the cute and cuddly to the creepy and crawly, and the scaly and slithery!

Each display lasts 45 minutes – 1 hour, and everybody has an opportunity to get up close to our resident animals!

We only bring out one at a time in a controlled and safe environment, and don’t worry if you aren’t keen on getting hands-on – we are aware and respectful of fears! Come and meet our Birds of Prey in our handling sessions.

On wet weather days, we do our displays inside, however seating is limited, so make sure to book ahead during holidays!

Andy also offers photography experiences.

The way it works: You bring your photography equipment, Andy brings his animals, and you work together to photograph exquisite animals within the studio, as well as birds of prey in outdoor natural environments!
