UCB Archaeology Volunteering Feedback

An important part of the Union Chain Bridge project is inspiring people find out more about local history and heritage. A team of volunteers used a variety of investigative tools to explore two interesting sites near the bridge. From comparing old maps, walking, measuring and recording the sites, to geophysics and digging the sites, a range of new information has been found. This meeting, featuring experts from Wessex Archaeology and Historic England, will contextualise that information, and try to interpret it.
