The Lavender Tearooms at Etal is a delightful family-run establishment located on the scenic Ford and Etal estate, one of the most picturesque villages in Northumberland. 

Originally seating 14, the tearoom now accommodates 35 guests indoors and offers ample outdoor seating in a welcoming front garden. The tearoom showcases a range of Northumbrian products, including tea, coffee, honey, chutneys, bread, cakes, and ice cream. It also features unique gifts like books, cards, soaps, and driftwood ornaments.

The menu includes sandwiches, paninis, toasties, jacket potatoes, and a selection of homemade cakes and scones. A standout is the Singing Hinnie, a traditional Northumbrian delicacy, it was featured on Antiques Road Trip in 2020 for its Singing Hinnie. It was also used as a film backdrop in 2010, starring Charles Dance and Adrian Lucas.

Lavender Tea Rooms welcomes coach parties and organised groups with advance booking, it is pet-friendly, and sources locally produced delicacies.
