The Mill House at Lindisfarne Bay

The historic Mill House is a large self-catering cottage that has been welcoming guests to this secret spot of the Northumberland coast for 15 years. We have a five-star gold award for excellence from Visit England and can welcome up to 8 guests.

Located 8 miles south of Berwick, at the very end of a quiet road, the house offers great peace and tranquillity whilst still close to many local attractions. The large living spaces having comfortable furniture, original art and stunning open views over the water, to both Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle. All 4 bedrooms all have high quality Egyptian linens and newly refurbished en suite bathrooms. The ground floor king-size bedroom has a level access shower room for our guests with additional mobility needs.

We are also situated within the heart of the wonderful Lindisfarne Natural Nature Reserve so there is an abundance of wildlife. Many different bird species are in the bay for keen birdwatchers to enjoy all year round either from the house or on a walk along the Northumberland Coastal path…. and you can often hear the seals calling on the sandbanks!

We are the perfect place for a multi-generational family or group of friends to gather for a holiday or special celebration.
